Producer & Programmer
PROJECTS
Here you will find a few of my latest projects that I have had the pleasure to work on. Project involvement ranges from producer to lead programmer to even creating a full mock business plan. While I have been part of many projects, these are the ones that I am most proud of.
Latest Projects
Project: Aqua Marines
Released over the summer of 2018, players in this futuristic VR experience will face hordes of enemies under a time limit while competing objectives on a foreign planet. Choose between solo or co-op for a fun gaming experience. Serving as the producer and lead programmer in a team of 8 people, our game was created in Unreal for Oculus. Every second counts in this action shooter of survival. More information about Aqua Marines and a free download can be found by clicking on the logo to the left or by clicking here.
Project: Business Plan
Using the Small Business Association business template, I created a mock business plan for a partnership company called Booyacidy. The business plan includes market research, production, pricing structure, competition, and financial projections over the course of three years. The business plan is available for view by either clicking on the logo to the left or by clicking here.

Project: Game Club Showcase 2017
Created using Game Maker scripting, Super Cyber-Dragon Smash was created by the Wake Tech Game Club and shown at the 2017 East Coast Game Conference. As the lead programmer, I managed other programmers to ensure proper completion and merging of mechanics as well as routine bug testing. Gameplay consisted of playing as a giant cyber dragon fighting enemies, destroying buildings, and going through portals in their quest to retrieve the last dragon egg.
Testimonial
"I have known Jonathan for almost two years in my capacity as a teacher at Wake Technical Community College. He has taken some of the programming classes I teach, including software engineering, HTML programming, and mobile programming. He has earned superior grades in those classes. His attendance and class participation was remarkable. In Unity 3D, he made a game similar to Crossy Road that was very well done. For the East Coast Gaming Conference, he was part of a team that submitted a game for the showcase and that was selected to be promoted at the conference. He has also coded a mini-shooting game for VR using the Oculus Rift."
